Ruth Allen

For over 30 years Ruth Allen has carved out a place as one of the foremost glass artists in the community. A friend of Meridian, Ruth collaborated with the foundry to create a glass replica of legendary AFL footballer Buddy Franklin’s boot. She blew the glass into a bronze mould made from his shoe, which was a celebration of his 1000th goal.
