Maria Kuczynska

Polish artist Maria Kuczynska began her career in Europe where she established herself as a skilled and prolific sculptor. After moving to Australia for a period beginning in 1982, Meridian began to cast her abstract figures, which subtly guide the shape of a torso through carefully layered sculptural material.
