Julie Davies

In 2018 Meridian was commissioned by artist Julie Davies to turn a real bonsai tree root system into bronze; a challenging undertaking due in part to the very fine section widths of the roots, and their delicate detail. This required us to develop our own unique centrifugal system, a standalone in the country and a great example of Meridian’s commitment to artistic vision.
